Well, it is perhaps a small group, but those of us with PMDD need the drospirenone to help alleviate our symptoms.  To me, the benefits of removing PMDD symptoms far outweighs the risks.  Other birth controls would do nothing to help with this.

Hi Fel,  Good point you make - once we empower ourselves with as much information as possible, it is up to each individual to weigh risks versus benefits for the medications we take.  </description>
