Thanks Amelia, if you have only one sexual partner you are probably not at risk from contraceptive ’side effects’ but STIs are a big danger to most young people nowadays, not just unwanted pregnancies so in most cases (even with natural birth control) it is wise to always remind friends to protect themselves with condoms and get checked for STIs regularly.
